The discipline of design in landscape is often overlooked or considered too costly a luxury, but we believe a beautiful and functional space is delivered more effectively with the consideration of design upfront. To ensure the benefits of design can be felt by all and not restricted by budgets, we have developed various methods that allow either a holistic or piecemeal approach to designing your garden.

Our design capabilities can include: consultations, landscape concept plans, landscape final drawings, garden rejuvenation plans, estimates and also site management.

All consultations, concept and rejuvenation plans, final drawings and site management are executed by Maxi Dubois personally.

DESIGN CONSULTATION

Maxi Dubois will arrange an onsite meeting to get an idea of your wants & needs. Prior to his arrival, we will send a questionnaire so Maxi is well prepared with an initial understanding of what you're after. The consult can take up to 1.5 hours, following which Maxi will discuss initial ideas along with your budget and possible next steps in the design process.

LANDSCAPE CONCEPT PLAN

This is an initial design that illustrates the vision & direction of your landscape. A concept plan is typically utilised for landscapes that include both hard (i.e. paving or a deck) and soft material (i.e. plants or turf). It includes scaled over head view, hard & soft material ideas and any physical or visual samples of those materials.

LANDSCAPE FINAL DRAWINGS

This stage of the design process is important to ensuring the integrity of the build at construction phase, particularly if you employ the services of a construction company outside of Infloressence. Final Drawings are mandatory should you require council approval for your project. The type of drawings required will depend on your project but may include: detail drawings of structural elements such as decks, walls, pergolas etc and also irrigation, planting and lighting plan.

(Does not include any alterations as it is a final execution).

GARDEN REJUVENATION PLAN

A garden spruce up may be all you require, assuming you are content with your gardens bones. If you like your current layout, but are looking to update the softscape then a rejuvenation plan is probably all you require. This plan will include a scaled over head view, planting schedule and images of the proposed greenery to be used. This package also allows for any floating (not built-in structures) accessories such as tables & chairs, sculptures, wall hangings etc to be outlined.

CONSTRUCT

Our construction capability covers a range of services including: consultations, estimates, quotes, site management and carrying out physical works. If you already have a landscape plan (typically from another designer) or are after a specific one off construction such as the installing a deck, paving a courtyard, laying some lush turf, erecting a fence or building a retaining wall we can assist.

The extend of works always depends on our project, but we can facilitate any or all of the following: Demolition of your tired old garden, excavation, soil preparation, building of hardscape, install and set up of irrigation and lighting, planting, mulching and health kick start program.

CONSTRUCTION CONSULTATION

A construction consultation is an on site meeting that allows Maxi to understand exactly what you're after, what plans you already have and how you can progress the build together. The cost of the consult is removed if the works are approved to go ahead with Infloressence.

HARDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION WORKS

Hardscape Construction works are works that include any hard surfaces i.e. paving / decking / driveways etc. Scope of works will be quoted and invoiced pending your requirements.

SOFTSCAPE REJUVENATION

Softscape Construction works are works that don't not include hard surfaces, but rather focuses on planting and softscape rejuvenation. Scope of works will be quoted and invoiced pending your requirements.

MAINTAIN

Every single garden, big or small, dry spell or traditional formal, requires a little love and up keep. Maintenance means different things to different people and importantly different things to different gardens. It can cover anything from a simple spruce up with a brush or broom, removal of unwanted blemishes AKA weeds, a lawn cut and blow dry and a hedge styling, to a nourishing treatment with fertiliser to promote strong health.

STANDARD MAINTENANCE QUOTE

Site visit (up to 30 minutes) to discuss standard/basic maintenance requirements. Schedule of work and quotation prepared by Maxi Dubois and issued to you.

STANDARD MAINTENANCE WORKS

Maintenance works are undertaken by The Red Shirts crew and may include: mowing, hedging, trimming, weeding, pressure washing paths and driveways, leaf blowing. Basic maintenance does not include the use of fertilisers or pesticides. Typical works involve minimum two men for two hours per visit, although this can be discussed with Maxi during the quotation period.

$60 per hour per man inc GST

HORTICULTURAL CONSULTATION

This consult involves a site visit by Maxi Dubois to undertake your gardens health analysis including: ph soil test, plant nutrient deficiency assessment, pests & diseases diagnostic. He will also work with you to understand plants placed incorrectly, what could be improved in the overall layout & design and replacement plant suggestions. A detailed health analysis provided along with garden health maintenance schedule and quotation is provided upon completion.

$200 inc GST

HEALTH MAINTENANCE WORKS

Health schedule is prepared by Maxi Dubois following the horticultural consultation and the works are undertaken by The Red Shirts crew. It includes standard maintenance works along with the specialist health plan as assessed and created by Maxi. The hourly rate includes all requirements for fertilisers, pesticides and organic matter. Typical minimum two men for two hours per visit, although this may vary based on the requirements of your site.

$65 per hour per man inc GST
